Moana Brown has been working in the field of Secondary School Education in New Zealand for the last 17 years in the areas of Health, Physical Education, Dance and Maori Language.  In this video, she focuses on experiences of Maori students and their families and the extent to which restorative practices have engaged them in a fair, equitable and empowering process.  Moana describes practices which invite students, parents and communities to make conscious choices and to generate more possibilities in their learning community.  Moana’s work is dedicated to building resiliency and capacity within schools.  (Copyright 2010 Heartspeak Productions)
